Postpartum and Pregnancy Yoga Studio Serving Hartford County, Connecticut

Meet Molly

(she/her)

Owner | Instructor

As a perinatal yoga instructor, it is my goal to guide mamas to find their breath, balance, and strength during pregnancy and postpartum to feel empowered and in control of their journey.

My Own Yoga Journey

I started my yoga practice over 10 years ago when I was diagnosed with arthritis. Taking what I learned from my yoga classes, I quickly felt relief in my body’s aches and started to treat myself with more compassion. As I learned more about healing modalities, I entered the world of meditation and Reiki. I noticed myself feeling better both internally and externally, and this inspired me to deepen my dive to see what else I could learn.

As friends and family members were giving birth, I noticed a theme that there wasn’t enough support. The sentiment of “just deal with it” seemed to be commonly accepted and it didn’t feel like these folks were getting the love and care that they deserved. I continued to listen to others as I did my research, leaning into the perinatal side of yoga.

Along the way, I learned that this was so much more than avoiding yoga poses on the belly. It became very clear that I could tie in these other healing methods I learned over the years and could share my knowledge with those around me. I was full of excitement and could see the potential impact this could have on my local perinatal community.

Full Circle Support

I started this business in the fall of 2020 and the excitement that I felt at the beginning still still runs through my veins. Hundreds of babies have been born, hundreds of mamas have joined our classes, and the rippling effect of this community can be seen throughout Hartford County. From early on, it was a mission of mine to continue to find ways to support families after they gave birth.

While some yoga studios are happy to pack their space and see faces come and go, this is not what you’ll find in my classes. I take time to connect with each individual so I can make the practice exactly what you need that day. I want you to feel seen, heard, and valued in our community space. After you give birth, I continue to support you through postpartum. This circle continues to not only support you but also shares the gift of yoga with your babies and toddlers. Just like our previous classes, I want your children to feel seen and valued for the incredible little humans they are.

What Makes Peaceful and Prenatal Different?

  • I take time to get to know every person who comes into our studio to learn about you, your goals, and how I can best support you on your journey.

  • My multiple certifications ensure that I have knowledge to provide you a safe environment for movement for you and your little yogis.

  • I deeply care about you and your well-being. I start every class by checking in with everyone to see what your specific needs are for that day.

  • Unlike other yoga studios, you’ll never feel like a person just dropping into class, you’ll feel welcomed into and a part of our community.
