YOGA FOR KIDS IN BERLIN CT AND SURROUNDING AREAS
Move, play, and grow together with Kids Yoga!
Kids don’t need to sit still to practice yoga.
In our Kids Yoga class, children ages 3.5–8 explore movement through age-appropriate yoga poses, games, songs, props, themed activities, and plenty of imagination.
They’ll build confidence, practice cooperation, and discover new ways to understand their bodies and emotions, all while having fun with their grown-up.
We move around the room. We make noise. We laugh, dance, sing, and play. Because yoga for kids should feel like it was made for kids!
01. Your child can follow simple, multi-step directions
02. They're curious about moving their body and trying new poses
03. You want dedicated time to play, connect, and be fully present together.

INSIDE A KIDS YOGA CLASS -
Together, you and your child will explore yoga poses and short, age-appropriate sequences through games, songs, props, and open-ended play. Every class follows a theme designed to help little yogis move, learn, and have fun.
What Makes Kids Yoga Different
01
Yoga Made Playful
We move, dance, sing, and use our imaginations, without expecting kids to practice like adults.
02
Skills Through Movement
Kids practice cooperation, patience, listening, breathwork, and healthy ways to express their emotions.
03
Room to Be Themselves
There’s no pressure to sit still or participate right away. Every child gets space to build confidence at their own pace.
04
Together on Purpose
This isn’t a drop-off class. It’s 45 minutes for you and your child to slow down, play, and connect!
Bring one yoga mat for you and your child to share or use, water to drink and comfortable clothes you can both move in. We'll take care of the rest with every prop you need (extra mats always on hand.)
The next step after Toddler Yoga
Kids Yoga includes more poses and short sequences while keeping the props, songs, and fun. Classes are led by a certified children’s yoga teacher, with creativity and early literacy woven in.
Kind Words From Our Community
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"Miss Molly is a wonderful yoga teacher providing a welcoming and relaxed environment. This was my son’s first true yoga class being instructed and I wasn’t sure how it would go. Miss Molly led the class effortlessly and involved all the children giving them moments to speak by themselves and she had patience when the kids did their own thing. The class was well balanced between moving and breathing with music and singing. Also the props were fun and gave something physical for the kids to focus on."
- Mama L.S.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"Molly is an excellent communicator with kids. She created a fun and engaging environment while keeping the class structured and approachable. She asks thoughtful, age-appropriate questions that encourage participation and make the kids feel comfortable and included."
- Mama M.N.

" I was skeptical about how kids this age could focus and truly enjoy a yoga class, but Molly made it so fun and age-appropriate. Very impressed!"

Is your little yogi ready for Kids Yoga?
Kids Yoga is designed for preschool and early-elementary children ages 3.5–8.
Your child may be ready for this class if they can:
Follow short, multi-step directions
Communicate their needs
Copy simple movements or body shapes
Participate in a more class-like experience
Practice working alongside other children
Age is only one part of readiness.
Younger three-year-olds who benefit from a more prop-focused, open-play experience may feel more comfortable in Toddler Yoga. Once they’re ready to follow more yoga poses and short sequences, Kids Yoga can be a wonderful next step.

Kids Yoga includes more poses and short sequences while still using games, songs, toys, stories, and props to keep the class playful. If your child is a younger three-year-old or isn’t ready to follow short sequences yet, Toddler Yoga may be the more comfortable starting point.
